These new high tech abrasion and heat resistant polymer coatings can be used by machinists, professional engine builders, motorcycle shops, gunsmiths, industrial maintenance departments, cutting tool manufacturers, under water equipment manufacturers and any other metal manufacturing industry. Application of the TR finishes will rust proof, heat proof and dry lubricate a product with a tough coating that will last many years.
Ten-Ring Precision's line of coatings has been successfully used on firearms, pistons, valve springs, gears, brake systems, intake manifolds, heads, barrels, slides, gear boxes, chains and many more items.
- TR Gun Kote -
TR Gun Kote was developed for use on military weapons. The United States Navy Seal Teams were the first units to use this product. The coating needed to withstand 500 hour salt spray tests and still meet the military machine gun firing requirements.
- TR Gun Kote is a thin hard coating that will give excellent protection from abrasion. .0004 thickness is ideal for close tolerance parts.
- Outstanding corrosion protection. TR Gun Kote affords the user outstanding corrosion protection, a minimum 500 hours salt spray at 5% salt.
- Resistant to chemicals, oils and solvents common to Automotive, Aircraft and Machine Tool Industries.
- Helps cool parts by dissipating heat. TR Gun Kote will withstand temperatures up to 500 degrees F and as low as -250 degrees F.

- TR Gear Kote -
TR Gear Kote is a solid film lubricant, also known as dry film lubricant, which will provide a thin lubricate film that will prevent galling and seizing. TR Gear Kote aids in heat dissipation and protects the base metal from corrosion while reducing friction. The appearance of TR Gear Kote is charcoal gray and upon burnishing will take on a sheen. The ingredients of TR Gear Kote are solid lubricants and resin binders which provide the means to secure the lubricate solid to the base material. The primary solid used for lubrication is Molybdenum Disulfide (MOs 2 or Moly) and because TR Gear Kote uses Moly it will withstand pressures in excess of 300,000 PSI.
TR Gear Kote properly applied will provide the user with several benefits:

TR Cleaner/Degreaser - Used for degreasing parts without leaving a residue. TR Cleaner/Degreaser contains a special formulation of fast drying, water displacing solvents that rapidly cut through oils and grease. TR Cleaner/Degreaser can be used on ignition points, plugs, deep cleaning bearings and drive chains prior to lubrication. TR Cleaner/Degreaser has unlimited uses for degreasing parts prior to coating.

LESS FRICTION: Synthetic chemistry provides an increase in protection over petroleum based lubricants. CARBON DISPERSION SYSTEM: Unlike petroleum oils, synthetics do not contribute to carbon build up, allowing longer use between cleaning.
