Mauser “S/42 Code 1937 Production proofs

14. (#112P) Extremely Fine Mauser “S/42 Code 1937 Production proofs – Serial #995y, 9mm, 3 7/8″ round bbl., blue finish, walnut grips. Dated 1912 over the chamber with the crowned Erfurt marking on the toggle, Imperial Eagle/63 and firing proofs stamped on the right barrel extension and barrel. Safety and extractor are marked “GESICHERT” and “GELADEN” respectively and the underside of the barrel has the bore marking. Matching serial number on front of frame (with “z” suffix), left barrel extension, and barrel underside with the partial serial number (95) on the takedown latch, side plate, sear, safety bar, thumb safety, extractor, toggle and toggle link. All blue finish with checkered walnut grips and mismatched blued magazine with aluminum base (1697t). Both grips are numbered to the pistol (95).

CONDITION: Excellent! The pistol retains 95% original blue finish with some loss at the muzzle, some minor edge wear and some thinning to gray, The grips are very fine with some minor dings and high edge wear in the overall crisp checkering. This fine Luger is in excellent mechanical condition…$2250.00.
